An awareness competition for school students | Scholarship Contest- Actizen®

Once a great person said that to change the world we need to change the education system. Through education only it is possible to live in such a great civilization, if we compare it with our ancestors. And because of our education system, we have created great rules and a systematic system in our society, which is part of our Democracy. However, in this changing era, new issues keepoccurring; so it becomes our dutyto revise the rules that our previous generation leaders left for us.

This is where Actizen^® Contest comes into play. Education is the only way to change the world, this is why Desh Apnayen launched a competition for school students so that our young generation who could be our future leaders get to understand the nuances of our country’s democracy and the shortcomings that needs to be changed in it.

This scholarship contest is known as Actizen^® – an initiative by Desh Apnayen.

In theActizen^® Contest, the students from 7th to 9th class can participate, for this either parents, teachers or even school can motivate their students/children to actively participate. The content of the contest is optimized in such a way that students get a grasp of the current government system and democracy to a deeper level, as our main motto from this is to educate our young generation about our democracy.

In the scholarship contest, students will be asked knowledge and current affairs-based multiple choice questions, a problem-solving exercise and a task related to a community service based on one of five themes of the contest.

The contest winners will also get a prize and chance to get featured in a short film by the makers of “Dangal” movie.

If you are curious about the quiz and want to test yourself, then you may also participate in a mock online quiz competition from the Actizen^® website. One can test their ability through this and prepare for the competition beforehand.

This whole competition for school students is organized in such a way that it gives our young generation knowledge about civic issues happening in our country and strike a chord to revolutionize our nation to become one of the greatest democracies.
