Once a great person said that to change the world we need to change the education system. Through education only it is possible to live in such a great civilization, if we compare it with our ancestors. And because of our education system, we have created great rules and a systematic system in our society, which is part of our Democracy. However, in this changing era, new issues keepoccurring; so it becomes our dutyto revise the rules that our previous generation leaders left for us. This is where Actizen ® Contest comes into play. Education is the only way to change the world, this is why Desh Apnayen launched a competition for school students so that our young generation who could be our future leaders get to understand the nuances of our country’s democracy and the shortcomings that needs to be changed in it. Actizen is an initiative by ‘ Desh Apnayen ’ to create a sense of belongingness about the country in the youth and make them a contributor to the country’s development. The complete process is conducted by creating a citizen education contest which is a competition for school students where they have to participate along with their teachers and principals. The contest for middle school students includes getting the school students involved in some kind of community service and finally coming up with a solution to the problem, and top selected schools will be given Actizen rotating trophies for school, students and teachers and a wonderful opportunity to feature in a short film directed by the team of the iconic film ‘Dangal’.
